Load bank is a testing equipment that predicts and measures how a power source will perform by simulating energy draw  in order to test power sources such as Generators, UPS and Turbines engines. Load bank transforms the power load created by relevant power source into heat and dissipates the heat via powered fans. This way, critical values such as capacity of power sources, component effectiveness, temperature, heat and power draw are tested to benchmark performance and functionality without harming the device. Load banks are used in numerous industries for different applications. While they can be used externally (outdoor) or internally (indoor ), load banks can be fixed or portable as well. High power load banks can be designed to fix in a static place in the testing facility while load banks of up to a certain power limit can be moved to different areas in the testing facility. In all areas with energy demand, mainly being power, construction, manufacturing, telecommunication and Defense Industries, load banks are always required. Used to test generators and turbine engines; commission accumulators and non-interrupted power sources, in power plants and substations for battery controls, load banks are the safest ways to measure capacity and functionality of power sources. Load Bank Prices Load bank prices differ depending on the power limit, load type (resistive load bank, inductive load bank) and number of stages while the type of application and the facility where load bank will be used also play a role in determining the price. Due to different types of tests to be performed, required features of the load bank will also change.
